"Sonic Screwdriver"??  That's a weird name.

The name is not original: the sonic screwdriver is the most important tool used
by the mythic Dr. Who of the long-running British sci-fi television series. 
"Dr. Who" is a zany and fun program, and we like to think that our music is zany and fun as well. 

But there is a deeper significance to the name that we have grabbed onto,
a significance that we don't tend to mention when we play. 
The members of our band are committed to glorifying Jesus Christ in all that we do,
even in playing rock and roll.  Just as a screwdriver is a simple yet important tool,
we want ourselves and our sound to be used as simple tools
to bring joy and happiness to others.
